Between the Lines, started in 2008, is a blog aimed at software developers and video game enthusiasts. Software development topics range from specific programming examples (typically based on the challenges I'm facing at the time) to thoughts on software engineering practices. Video game topics range from reviews to thoughts on the medium.

About the Author

Andrew Eichacker is a Software Design Engineer at HP. He is currently developing touch applications for the TouchSmart PC.

He was born in December 1985 in Wichita, KS. He graduated with a BS in Computer Science from Wichita State University in May 2008 and moved to the Silicon Valley in June 2008. He has since been working at HP as part of the TouchSmart Applications Team.

He has been married to his wife, Mandi, since June 2008 (yes, it was a rather busy month) and has one daughter.

He enjoys playing video games, programming, writing, hiking, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, clay building, and spending time with friends and family. He also typically does not speak nor write in the third person.
